Frequently Asked Questions

Got questions? We’ve answered the most common ones about bidding, registration, and how our auctions work.

Becoming a Bidder

To register, simply follow the link to the specific auction you would like to register for, create an account and complete the online bidder registration form. Once approved, you’ll be able to start bidding immediately.

Online bidding allows you to participate from anywhere in the world using your computer or mobile device. In-person bidding takes place live at the auction venue. Both methods give you full access to all lots, but in-person bidders experience the event atmosphere and can inspect vehicles onsite. Also, it is important to note that should there ever be a “tie-bid” – whoever is bidding in person will always take precedence.

The buyer’s premium is 10% plus province specific taxes.

Yes. All registered bidders are welcome to inspect vehicles during designated preview hours. We strongly encourage personal inspection or the use of a professional third-party inspector.

Selling

You can consign by completing our online consignment form or contacting our team directly. Once approved, we’ll walk you through the listing process, marketing, photography, and auction scheduling.

There is an entry fee of $300.00 CAD. This is the only fee that is required to be paid upon listing of the vehicle. For each additional vehicle entry per consignor, the entry fee is $150.00 CAD.

Yes, you are able to set a reserve price on your vehicle. All reserve prices have to be approved by the auction house. Upon approval of your reserve price, we must take into account the vehicle’s condition and market value.

Advantages & Listing

Advantages of Selling With No Reserve

1. Attracts More Bidders
No-reserve listings generate significantly more interest because buyers know the vehicle will sell.

2. Creates Stronger Bidding Momentum
Early and active bidding often leads to fast-paced competition that drives the price upward.

3. Maximizes Final Sale Price Through Competition
Intense bidder participation can push the final price higher than a reserve-listed vehicle might achieve.

5. Builds Trust With Buyers
Buyers view no-reserve auctions as transparent and fair, encouraging more confident bidding.

7. Shows Seller Confidence
A no-reserve listing signals that the seller is confident in their vehicle and trusts the market, increasing perceived value.

10. Ideal for Vehicles With Broad Appeal
Desirable or well-presented vehicles often benefit the most, drawing strong interest from multiple bidders.

Once a vehicle is consigned, photos and information is gathered from the consignor. The photos provided are used for advertising up until the point the vehicle is dropped off at our facility. Upon vehicle arrival, the auction house does a full photo and video shoot of your vehicle
