Our History
Our History: From Local Passion to National Presence
DRIVEN BY COLLECTOR PASSION SINCE DAY ONE
What began as a personal love for cars turned into one of Canada’s fastest-growing collector car auction brands.
Coast2Coast Collector Car Auctions was launched by Craig and Janelle Collingridge in early 2021, building on their success at Associated Auto Auction (AAA)-a full-service auction house established in 1971 in Winnipeg, Manitoba. Craig’s deep roots in the automotive industry, combined with a vision to modernize the collector car space, laid the groundwork for a coast-to-coast movement.

Craig Collingridge
When Craig was 15 years old, he bought a 1979 Ford Mustang. He bought it for $625. Little did he know it, that would be the start of his lifelong passion. Since that day, he has been buying and selling classic cars worldwide. Growing up, he worked in the auction business with his father who did livestock sales. Then, after running his own car dealership for over 20 years, he decided to get into the car auction business. He bought Associated Auto Auction in 2020 with his wife, Janelle. They ran their first ever collector car auction in early 2021. With multiple successful collector car auctions under his belt, he is ready to take on the rest of Canada to expand the business.

The Euro Auctions Acquisition (2025)
In June 2025, Associated Auto Auction and Coast2Coast joined the Euro Auctions Group, one of the world’s largest auction houses. AAA now operates under the Michener Allen brand, with operations moved to the Headingley, Manitoba facility on the edge of Winnipeg.
“Becoming the latest Canadian auction house to join Euro Auctions marks exciting times for us. It gives our collector car brand national reach, and expands industrial auction capabilities in Manitoba.” – Craig Collingridge
This acquisition strengthened Euro Auctions’ Canadian presence combining the local expertise of AAA with global infrastructure and logistics
